Task pg 19 SB

Ghent is a city located in Belgium. It is the capital and the largest city of the East Flanders province.  It is known for its streets and its squares. Moreover, I would like to emphasise the multicultural ambient that sorrounds the magical place.
The first thing that sourprises you when you step the city, is the differences between some streets and the others.
On the one hand it has the historical part where you can finde different monuments. First of all you realize that in Saint-Baafsplein square you can see two of the three famous tall towers that make this city so unique. One owns to the Belfort bell tower and the second one to the Saint Babón Catedral. If you continue walking arround the streets, you will find the third one, located in Saint Nicholas' church. Personaly, I recomend stay the whole day to visit it, and look for information about the history of the city. What I also found very atractive are the guild houses and the history of the people that lived there and the arquitecture of those buildings. But truly liked the most was the Death Squere. Lots of centuries ago, the women that got pregnat without being merried, they were guilty of having the devil inside; so, on this street they tooke those women and they put inside of them an stik with a kind of knife on both sides until they took off the baby and the woman died. Nowadays, on this squere, everitime that a child borns in the city, the lights that are in there turn on.
In conclusion, Ghent is one of the most beautiful cities I've ever visited and I wouldcome back without thinking it any moment.
